After watching AKIRA for the n^th time, I was driven to model the iconic bike. During this process of modelling and rendering the bike I decided to recreate my favorite scenes from the anime lead to this passion project AKIRA RESURGE.

The project is a tribute to the legendary work of Katsuhiro Otomo, the creator of AKIRA. The short film is inspired by Ash Thorp & Xiaolin Zeng's AWAKEN AKIRA with the amazing score by Pilot Priest.
